The Office of the Ombudsman participated in the Eastern Lawyers Association’s free legal clinic at the Mayaro Civic Centre on Saturday 17th October, 2026.
The ELA’s clinics cater to members of the public, especially those from low-income or underserved communities, providing them with a more accessible opportunity to obtain legal assistance.
Our Investigators were present to inform attendees about the work of the Office of the Ombudsman, provide guidance or referrals where necessary and receive complaints.
